#[non_exhaustive]pub enum HidingBoundClassification {
Proven,
Conditional,
Approximation,
Unavailable,
}Expand description
How much theorem support a reported bound has.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Proven
The displayed component or ideal-IOP composition follows from a theorem.
This label is local to the term and its documented branch premise. For example, a query-miss term is proven when the oracle is at least the reported radius from its code; that does not upgrade a conditional close-word list or MCA branch in the Capacity regime. Likewise, a proven aggregate covers only the ideal-IOP composition reported here, not the reductions and compiler steps excluded by this module.
Conditional
The term depends on an additional coding or compiler assumption.
This is used for the capacity-rate coding conjectures and for the post-PoW query estimate under the Fiat–Shamir grinding model.
Approximation
The term is a numerical approximation, not a conservative theorem bound.
Retained for API compatibility and downstream constructions of approximate bounds. This crate’s reports do not currently produce it.
No accepted numerical bound is encoded for this geometry.
