#[non_exhaustive]pub enum ProfileError {
Schedule(WhirConfigError),
Grinding {
required: usize,
ceiling: usize,
},
ZeroQueries,
}Expand description
Why a profile could not be turned into a schedule.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Schedule(WhirConfigError)
The derivation refused the profile.
Grinding
The analysis demands more grinding than one witness of the alphabet can carry.
ZeroQueries
The derived schedule opens no position, so nothing ties a codeword to the commitment.
Queries are the only part of the run that tests proximity.
A schedule opening none of them accepts any codeword, whatever the level reported.
That is what crediting grinding with the whole target derives to.
The protocol level is a saturating difference.
So the credit is whole whenever the budget reaches the target, not only at zero.
The floor lives in the schedule itself, so every constructor meets it.
