StatsCache

Struct StatsCache

Source
pub struct StatsCache<C> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A cache wrapper that records hits and misses via CacheStats.

On each get call:

  • If the inner cache returns Some(v) → hit recorded.
  • If the inner cache returns None → miss recorded.

§Type parameters

  • C: inner Cache<Vec<u8>, Vec<u8>> implementation.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<C> StatsCache<C>
where C: Cache<Vec<u8>, Vec<u8>>,

Source

pub fn new(inner: C) -> Self

Wrap inner with a freshly created CacheStats.

Source

pub fn with_stats(inner: C, stats: Arc<CacheStats>) -> Self

Wrap inner with a shared CacheStats (useful for sharing across wrappers).

Source

pub fn stats(&self) -> &Arc<CacheStats>

Return a reference to the underlying stats.

Source§

fn len(&self) -> usize

Return the number of live entries currently in the cache.
Source§

fn cap(&self) -> usize

Return the maximum number of entries the cache can hold.
Source§

Source§

fn resize(&mut self, new_cap: usize)

Dynamically resize the cache capacity. Read more
Source§

fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Return true if the cache holds no entries.
Source§

fn get_or_insert(&mut self, key: K, default: impl FnOnce() -> V) -> &V
where K: Clone,

Return &V for key, inserting default() if the key is absent. Read more
