ProjectionPruning

Struct ProjectionPruning

Source
pub struct ProjectionPruning {
    pub required: Vec<String>,
}
Expand description

Prune Project column lists to only those columns required by the parent.

When required is empty, this pass is a no-op (all columns are kept).

Fields§

§required: Vec<String>

Column names (bare names, not qualified) needed by the consumer of this plan. An empty list means “all columns required” (no pruning).

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl OptPass for ProjectionPruning

Source§

fn name(&self) -> &'static str

Short name identifying this pass (for tracing / debugging).
Source§

fn apply(&self, plan: LogicalPlan) -> LogicalPlan

Apply the rewrite to plan, returning the (possibly modified) plan.
