Expand description

A joint connecting two rigid bodies.

Fields§

§id: u32

Unique joint identifier.

§body_a: u32

Body A handle.

§body_b: u32

Body B handle.

§anchor_a: [f64; 3]

Anchor point on body A in local space.

§anchor_b: [f64; 3]

Anchor point on body B in local space.

§kind: JointKind

Joint type.

§enabled: bool

Whether this joint is enabled.

§break_force: f64

Joint breaking force (inf = unbreakable).

Implementations§

Source§

impl PyJoint

Source

pub fn fixed( id: u32, body_a: u32, body_b: u32, anchor_a: [f64; 3], anchor_b: [f64; 3], ) -> Self

Create a fixed joint between two bodies.

Source

pub fn revolute( id: u32, body_a: u32, body_b: u32, anchor: [f64; 3], axis: [f64; 3], ) -> Self

Create a revolute joint.

Source

pub fn spring( id: u32, body_a: u32, body_b: u32, anchor_a: [f64; 3], anchor_b: [f64; 3], stiffness: f64, damping: f64, rest_length: f64, ) -> Self

Create a spring joint.

Source

pub fn is_breakable(&self) -> bool

Check if the joint is breakable.
