Symlet4

Struct Symlet4

Source
pub struct Symlet4;
Expand description

Symlet-4 wavelet filter bank (sym4).

Symlets are nearly symmetric wavelets derived from Daubechies filters. The sym4 filter has 8 coefficients.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Symlet4

Source

pub const H: [f64; 8]

Sym4 low-pass (scaling) filter coefficients (8 taps).

Source

pub const G: [f64; 8]

Sym4 high-pass (wavelet) filter coefficients (QMF of H).

Source

pub fn forward(signal: &[f64]) -> (Vec<f64>, Vec<f64>)

One-level forward Sym4 DWT via periodic convolution and downsampling.

Returns (approx, detail) each of length signal.len() / 2.

Source

pub fn inverse(approx: &[f64], detail: &[f64]) -> Vec<f64>

One-level inverse Sym4 DWT (synthesis step).

approx and detail must have the same length.
