FrameType

Enum FrameType

Source
#[repr(u8)]
pub enum FrameType { KeyFrame = 0, InterFrame = 1, IntraOnlyFrame = 2, SwitchFrame = 3, }
Expand description

AV1 frame types as defined in the specification (Section 6.8.2).

Variants§

§

KeyFrame = 0

Key frame - independently decodable, random access point.

§

InterFrame = 1

Inter frame - uses references from previous frames.

§

IntraOnlyFrame = 2

Intra-only frame - uses only intra prediction, not a random access point.

§

SwitchFrame = 3

Switch frame - special frame for stream switching.

Implementations§

Source§

impl FrameType

Source

pub const fn is_intra(self) -> bool

Returns true if this is an intra frame (key frame or intra-only).

Source

pub const fn is_key(self) -> bool

Returns true if this is a key frame.

Source

pub const fn is_inter(self) -> bool

Returns true if this frame uses inter prediction.
