pub struct CacheEntry {
    pub data: Vec<u8>,
    pub size_bytes: usize,

Expand description

A single cached value together with its metadata.

Fields§

§data: Vec<u8>

Raw value bytes.

§size_bytes: usize

Size in bytes; if 0 the data.len() is used.

§expires_at: Option<Instant>

Optional expiry wall-clock instant.

§priority: u32

Logical priority tag (higher = more important to keep).

§last_accessed: Instant

Wall-clock time at which this entry was last read.

§access_count: u64

Number of times this entry has been accessed.

Implementations§

Source§

impl CacheEntry

Source

pub fn new(data: Vec<u8>) -> Self

Create a new CacheEntry with default metadata.

Source

pub fn with_meta( data: Vec<u8>, size_bytes: usize, ttl: Option<Duration>, priority: u32, ) -> Self

Create a CacheEntry with an explicit byte-size hint, TTL, and priority.

Source

pub fn is_expired(&self) -> bool

Return true if this entry has expired.
