pub struct TileStream { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Iterator over raster tile coordinates at a fixed zoom level.
Tiles are yielded in row-major order: all columns for row 0, then row 1, etc. (top-left to bottom-right).
This is a coordinate stream: the data field of each yielded
RasterTile is intentionally empty (has_data() == false). It exists to
enumerate the tile grid; to obtain the actual pixels for a tile, read the
corresponding pixel window from the dataset with
crate::Dataset::read_window. (Populating data directly from a slippy /
XYZ tile requires reprojecting the dataset to Web Mercator and resampling,
which is a separate, heavier operation.)
Obtained via StreamingExt::tiles.
Implementations§
Source§impl TileStream
impl TileStream
Sourcepub fn full_zoom(zoom: u8) -> Self
pub fn full_zoom(zoom: u8) -> Self
Create a new TileStream that covers all tiles at the given zoom.
At zoom z, there are 2^z × 2^z tiles.
Sourcepub fn from_range(
zoom: u8,
x_range: (u32, u32),
y_range: (u32, u32),
) -> Result<Self>
pub fn from_range( zoom: u8, x_range: (u32, u32), y_range: (u32, u32), ) -> Result<Self>
Create a TileStream covering a sub-rectangle of tiles at zoom.
x_range and y_range are (start, end) half-open ranges
(i.e., start..end).
§Errors
Returns OxiGeoError::OutOfBounds if the range exceeds 2^zoom.
Sourcepub fn total_tiles(&self) -> u64
pub fn total_tiles(&self) -> u64
Total number of tiles this stream will produce.
Returns (max_x - start_x) × (max_y - start_y) which may be large for
high zoom levels.
Sourcepub fn yielded_count(&self) -> u64
pub fn yielded_count(&self) -> u64
Number of tiles yielded so far.

Iterator::size_hint() to get length.
Returns Some(..) only if size_hint.1 is Some. If you want to create a progress bar
even if size_hint.1 returns None use progress_count()
or progress_with() instead.
