CpuSimd is always available and is the correctness reference; the GPU backends are opt-in cargo features and are selected at runtime by the hardware detector.

Cuda

NVIDIA CUDA (feature cuda).

Metal

Apple Metal on unified memory (feature metal, macOS only).
