Struct Metadata

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct Metadata { pub icc: Option<Vec<u8>>, pub exif: Option<Vec<u8>>, pub xmp: Option<Vec<u8>>, pub gamma: Option<f32>, }
Expand description

Embedded metadata of a picture, each as the raw bytes a consumer hands to its own parser.

  • icc — the ICC profile of an ICC colr (rICC / prof).
  • exif — the Exif payload from the TIFF header on (the HEIF A.2.1 exif_tiff_header_offset word and any bytes before the TIFF header are stripped on decode and re-written on encode).
  • xmp — the XMP packet (application/rdf+xml mime item).
  • gamma — AVIF carries no gamma value; always None on decode, ignored on encode.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Metadata

Source

pub fn new( icc: Option<Vec<u8>>, exif: Option<Vec<u8>>, xmp: Option<Vec<u8>>, gamma: Option<f32>, ) -> Self

Every field as a positional argument, in declaration order.

Source

pub fn with_icc(self, icc: Option<Vec<u8>>) -> Self

Setter: replace icc.

Source

pub fn with_exif(self, exif: Option<Vec<u8>>) -> Self

Setter: replace exif.

Source

pub fn with_xmp(self, xmp: Option<Vec<u8>>) -> Self

Setter: replace xmp.

Source

pub fn with_gamma(self, gamma: Option<f32>) -> Self

Setter: replace gamma.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

true when nothing is embedded.
