#[non_exhaustive]pub enum TaskletOutcome {
Completed,
CompletedWith(ExitStatus),
Stopped,
StoppedAfterBlockingWork,
CommitOutcomeUnknown,
}Expand description
The user-controlled result of one tasklet invocation.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Completed
User work finished successfully.
CompletedWith(ExitStatus)
User work completed with a custom bounded flow-facing exit status.
The lifecycle status remains COMPLETED; only transition selection and
the persisted exit status observe this value.
Stopped
User work observed a cooperative stop.
StoppedAfterBlockingWork
A blocking adapter completed already-running synchronous work and then observed stop.
Application tasklets should return Self::Stopped. This variant is
emitted by BlockingTaskletAdapter to preserve the late-stop
limitation in the launch report.
CommitOutcomeUnknown
An adapter-owned commit returned without a knowable durable outcome.
Application tasklets should not return this variant. It exists so
framework adapters can persist UNKNOWN without guessing.
