Expand description

Error type for launch parameter validation.

These variants describe specific constraint violations that would cause a kernel launch to fail at the driver level.

Variants§

§

BlockSizeExceedsLimit

The total number of threads per block exceeds the device maximum.

Fields

§requested: u32

Requested total threads per block.

§max: u32

Maximum allowed by the device.

§

GridSizeExceedsLimit

A grid dimension exceeds the device maximum.

Fields

§requested: u32

Requested grid size in the offending dimension.

§max: u32

Maximum allowed by the device.

§

SharedMemoryExceedsLimit

The requested dynamic shared memory exceeds the device maximum.

Fields

§requested: u32

Requested shared memory in bytes.

§max: u32

Maximum allowed by the device.

§

InvalidDimension

A dimension value is invalid (e.g., zero).

Fields

§dim: &'static str

Name of the dimension (e.g., “block.x”, “grid.z”).

§value: u32

The invalid value.
