Expand description

The operation kind associated with a GraphNode.

Variants§

§

KernelLaunch

Launches a PTX/CUDA kernel.

Fields

§function_name: String

Kernel function name (used to look up the loaded module).

§config: KernelConfig

Grid/block configuration.

§fusible: bool

Whether this kernel is eligible for fusion with adjacent element-wise kernels.

§

Memcpy

Copies memory between host and device, or device to device.

Fields

§dir: MemcpyDir

Transfer direction.

§size_bytes: usize

Transfer size in bytes.

§

Memset

Fills a device buffer with a byte pattern.

Fields

§size_bytes: usize

Number of bytes to fill.

§value: u8

Byte fill value.

§

EventRecord

Records a CUDA event (signals completion of preceding work).

§

EventWait

Waits for a recorded event before proceeding.

§

HostCallback

A host-side callback inserted into the stream.

Fields

§label: String

Human-readable label for debugging and visualisation.

§

Barrier

A no-op synchronisation barrier (join point for multiple dependency chains).

§

Conditional

A conditional subgraph fork (CUDA graph conditional node equivalent).

Fields

§condition_buf: BufferId

Condition variable — a boolean device buffer.

§true_branch: Vec<NodeId>

Which branch is the “true” path (node IDs within this graph).

§false_branch: Vec<NodeId>

Which branch is the “false” path.

Implementations§

Source§

impl NodeKind

Source

pub fn is_compute(&self) -> bool

Returns true if this node performs device computation (not just memory movement).

Source

pub fn is_memory_op(&self) -> bool

Returns true if this node is a memory transfer.

Source

pub fn is_fusible(&self) -> bool

Returns true if this kernel is marked as fusible with adjacent element-wise kernels.

Source

pub fn function_name(&self) -> Option<&str>

Returns the function name for kernel launch nodes.

Source

pub fn tag(&self) -> &'static str

Returns a short human-readable tag for this operation kind.
