pub struct QuadratureInterval {
pub a: f64,
pub b: f64,
}Expand description
One lane of a quadrature batch: the limits of one definite integral.
§Units
a and b are in the integration variable’s units. The value the batch
returns carries the product of those units and the integrand’s.
§Conventions
a == bintegrates to exactly0.0, with no integrand evaluations.b < ais supported and returns the negated integral over[b, a], the usual orientation convention. (The ODE half deliberately does not accept a reversed interval, because its underlying loop marches forwards only; quadrature has no such constraint.)- A non-finite
aorbyieldsQuadratureStatus::InvalidInterval. There is no support for infinite limits; a caller wanting one should substitute the variable itself, which is the only way to choose the transformation knowingly.
Fields§
§a: f64Lower limit, in the integration variable’s units.
b: f64Upper limit, in the integration variable’s units.
