OdeEnsembleFailure

Struct OdeEnsembleFailure

Source
pub struct OdeEnsembleFailure {
    pub total: usize,
    pub failure_count: usize,
    pub first_index: usize,
    pub first_status: OdeLaneStatus,
    pub first_steps: u32,
    pub first_x_reached: f64,
}
Expand description

One or more lanes of an OdeEnsemble did not complete.

Returned by OdeEnsemble::states. It names both the scale of the problem (how many of how many) and a specific lane to look at, because “3 of 10 000 cells failed” is only actionable once you know which cell and how far it got.

§Units

Counts and indices are dimensionless; first_x_reached is in the independent variable’s units.

Fields§

§total: usize

Number of lanes in the ensemble.

§failure_count: usize

Number of lanes that did not complete.

§first_index: usize

Index of the first failing lane.

§first_status: OdeLaneStatus

Why that lane failed.

§first_steps: u32

Accepted sub-steps that lane took before giving up.

§first_x_reached: f64

The independent-variable value that lane reached.
