Struct AdaptiveSettings

Source
pub struct AdaptiveSettings {
    pub abs_tol: f64,
    pub rel_tol: f64,
    pub max_subdivisions: u32,
}
Expand description

Tolerances and work limit for adaptive_quadrature_batch.

§Units

abs_tol is in the units of the integral (integrand times abscissa); rel_tol is a dimensionless ratio; max_subdivisions is a count.

§Example

use outram_foam_basic_lib::ode::parallel::AdaptiveSettings;

// Struct-update syntax keeps the defaults you did not mean to change.
let s = AdaptiveSettings { abs_tol: 1e-12, ..AdaptiveSettings::default() };
assert_eq!(s.rel_tol, 1e-8);

Fields§

§abs_tol: f64

Absolute tolerance on the whole integral, in the integral’s units.

§rel_tol: f64

Relative tolerance, dimensionless, applied against the running estimate of the integral’s magnitude.

§max_subdivisions: u32

Maximum bisections per lane before reporting QuadratureStatus::ToleranceNotMet. Also bounded by MAX_ADAPTIVE_DEPTH on depth.
