pub struct Tint { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Tint with a colour (sharp’s tint): each pixel keeps its luma and takes
its chroma from the tint.
sharp does this in Lab; this does it in YCbCr (BT.601), so tinted colours are close to sharp’s but not identical. A saturated tint can push a pixel outside the RGB gamut, where it is clipped, as in sharp. A greyscale input becomes colour.
