CacheStats

Struct CacheStats

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct CacheStats { pub hits: u64, pub misses: u64, pub evictions: u64, pub insertions: u64, pub rejections: u64, }
Expand description

Counters describing cache behaviour, for tests and diagnostics.

These are observations, not API guarantees: eviction policy details are explicitly internal (ARCHITECTURE §Layer 4).

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§hits: u64

Lookups that found a retained tile.

§misses: u64

Lookups that found nothing.

§evictions: u64

Tiles dropped to stay within budget.

§insertions: u64

Tiles offered to the cache.

§rejections: u64

Tiles not retained because one alone exceeded the whole budget.
