SchedulerOptions

Struct SchedulerOptions

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct SchedulerOptions { pub threads: usize, pub cache_budget: usize, pub batch_tiles: usize, pub plan: PlanOptions, }
Expand description

Tuning for a Scheduler.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§threads: usize

Worker threads. Zero means ThreadPool::default_threads.

§cache_budget: usize

Byte budget for the shared tile cache.

§batch_tiles: usize

Output tiles evaluated concurrently.

This is the memory/parallelism dial: peak usage scales with it, and so does available concurrency. Zero means “one per worker thread”.

§plan: PlanOptions

Tile shape negotiation options.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SchedulerOptions

Source

pub const fn with_threads(self, threads: usize) -> Self

Set the worker thread count; zero means one per core.

SchedulerOptions is #[non_exhaustive], so downstream crates cannot use a struct literal; these setters are the only way to configure it.

Source

pub const fn with_cache_budget(self, bytes: usize) -> Self

Set the tile cache byte budget.

Source

pub const fn with_batch_tiles(self, tiles: usize) -> Self

Set how many output tiles are evaluated concurrently.

Source

pub const fn with_plan(self, plan: PlanOptions) -> Self

Set the tile shape negotiation options.
