FloatingIpAssociationClient

Struct FloatingIpAssociationClient

Source
pub struct FloatingIpAssociationClient { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Calls FloatingIpAssociationService.

Floating IP associations: which network interface a floating IP reaches. A floating IP has at most one (see the floating IP’s network_interface). An association’s id is the id of the network interface it names, so a client that knows the floating IP and the interface names the association without listing. To move an address to another interface, delete its association and create another.

Implementations§

Source§

impl FloatingIpAssociationClient

Source

pub fn new(client: &Client) -> Self

Returns a client of FloatingIpAssociationService that sends its calls through client.

Source

pub fn service(&self) -> &Service

The endpoint the client sends its calls to, which also serves the operations its methods answer with.

Source

pub async fn get_floating_ip_association( &self, request: GetFloatingIpAssociationRequest, ) -> Result<FloatingIpAssociation, Error>

Returns a floating IP association.

Source

pub async fn list_floating_ip_associations( &self, request: ListFloatingIpAssociationsRequest, ) -> Result<ListFloatingIpAssociationsResponse, Error>

Lists a floating IP’s associations: none or one.

Source

pub fn all_floating_ip_associations( &self, request: ListFloatingIpAssociationsRequest, ) -> Pages<FloatingIpAssociation>

Returns everything list_floating_ip_associations lists from request’s page on, fetching the next page as the stream reaches it. A page that fails ends the stream with its error.

Source

pub async fn create_floating_ip_association( &self, request: CreateFloatingIpAssociationRequest, ) -> Result<Operation<FloatingIpAssociation>, Error>

Associates a floating IP with a network interface. Refused with FAILED_PRECONDITION when the floating IP has an association, and while the address backs a NAT gateway. The operation is done once the change is recorded; the network applies it within seconds.

It answers with an operation to wait on: Operation::wait returns the FloatingIpAssociation once the change is done.

Source

pub async fn delete_floating_ip_association( &self, request: DeleteFloatingIpAssociationRequest, ) -> Result<Operation<Empty>, Error>

Removes a floating IP’s association: the address reaches nothing, and stays allocated. Refused for an address the platform assigned at launch (auto_assigned), which is released with its network interface. The operation is done once the change is recorded; the network applies it within seconds.

It answers with an operation to wait on, which has no result: Operation::wait returns once the change is done.
