pub struct RouteTableAssociationClient { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Calls RouteTableAssociationService.
Route table associations: which route table a subnet uses. A subnet has at most one; with none it has no route out of its VPC and counts as a subnet whose route table has no default route. Internet access is decided per VPC and address family, so a subnet without a default route still reaches, and is reached from, the internet through a floating IP or an IPv6 address while another subnet of its VPC routes out; network ACL and security group rules are what keep its traffic in. An association’s id is the id of the route table it names, so a client that knows the subnet and the table names the association without listing. To move a subnet to another table, delete its association and create another.
Implementations§
Source§impl RouteTableAssociationClient
impl RouteTableAssociationClient
Sourcepub fn new(client: &Client) -> Self
pub fn new(client: &Client) -> Self
Returns a client of RouteTableAssociationService that sends its calls through client.
Sourcepub fn service(&self) -> &Service
pub fn service(&self) -> &Service
The endpoint the client sends its calls to, which also serves the operations its methods answer with.
Sourcepub async fn get_route_table_association(
&self,
request: GetRouteTableAssociationRequest,
) -> Result<RouteTableAssociation, Error>
pub async fn get_route_table_association( &self, request: GetRouteTableAssociationRequest, ) -> Result<RouteTableAssociation, Error>
Returns a route table association.
Sourcepub async fn list_route_table_associations(
&self,
request: ListRouteTableAssociationsRequest,
) -> Result<ListRouteTableAssociationsResponse, Error>
pub async fn list_route_table_associations( &self, request: ListRouteTableAssociationsRequest, ) -> Result<ListRouteTableAssociationsResponse, Error>
Lists a subnet’s route table associations: none or one.
Sourcepub fn all_route_table_associations(
&self,
request: ListRouteTableAssociationsRequest,
) -> Pages<RouteTableAssociation>
pub fn all_route_table_associations( &self, request: ListRouteTableAssociationsRequest, ) -> Pages<RouteTableAssociation>
Returns everything list_route_table_associations lists from request’s page on, fetching the next page as the stream reaches it. A page that fails ends the stream with its error.
Sourcepub async fn create_route_table_association(
&self,
request: CreateRouteTableAssociationRequest,
) -> Result<Operation<RouteTableAssociation>, Error>
pub async fn create_route_table_association( &self, request: CreateRouteTableAssociationRequest, ) -> Result<Operation<RouteTableAssociation>, Error>
Associates a route table with a subnet. Refused with
FAILED_PRECONDITION when the subnet has a route table association. The operation is done
once the change is recorded; the network applies it within seconds.
It answers with an operation to wait on: Operation::wait returns the RouteTableAssociation once the change is done.
Sourcepub async fn delete_route_table_association(
&self,
request: DeleteRouteTableAssociationRequest,
) -> Result<Operation<Empty>, Error>
pub async fn delete_route_table_association( &self, request: DeleteRouteTableAssociationRequest, ) -> Result<Operation<Empty>, Error>
Removes a subnet’s route table association. The subnet then has no route out of its VPC and counts as a subnet whose route table has no default route. The operation is done once the change is recorded; the network applies it within seconds.
It answers with an operation to wait on, which has no result: Operation::wait returns once the change is done.
