Expand description

A network interface: private addresses in one subnet, filtered by security groups.

Fields§

§name: String

The interface’s resource name.

§urn: String

The interface’s URN, the identifier access policies and the audit log use.

§subnet: String

The subnet the interface has its addresses in, in the same project and zone.

§security_groups: Vec<String>

The security groups that filter the interface’s traffic, as its security group associations (each a SecurityGroupAssociation) set them. The interface admits the traffic any of them allows. With none, it admits and sends nothing except replies to its own traffic and address resolution (ARP and IPv6 neighbor discovery): it is closed.

§source_address_check: Option<bool>

Whether a packet the instance sends must carry the interface’s own MAC and IP address as its source; true when left unset. Turn it off for an instance that forwards traffic for other addresses, such as a router, a NAT instance or a shared virtual IP.

§ipv4_address: String

The interface’s private IPv4 address.

§ipv6_address: String

The interface’s IPv6 address.

§state: i32

Whether the interface is in use.

§instance: String

The instance the interface is attached to; empty while it is network_interface::State::Available. An instance attaches interfaces when it is launched.

§create_time: Option<Timestamp>

When the network interface was created.

§creator: String

The principal that created the network interface, such as user:<id> or service_account:<id>; empty for one the platform created.

§tags: BTreeMap<String, String>

Labels of your own, at most 50. The origin:name tag is the name the console shows.
