#[non_exhaustive]pub enum TokenSourceError {
Exec,
Invalid,
Timeout,
Other,
}Expand description
Failure classes a TokenSource may report.
Every variant is fully redacted: neither Debug nor std::fmt::Display
reveals any inner detail. The variants carry no payload by construction, so a
token, a signed assertion, or a raw provider response can never leak through
a token-source failure into logs, error chains, or panic output. A provider
maps its underlying error into one of these classes and drops the detail —
fail-closed.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Exec
The provider (command / process / HTTP call) failed to execute or exited unsuccessfully.
Invalid
The provider ran but returned something that is not a usable token.
Timeout
The provider did not produce a token within its own deadline.
Other
Any other provider failure.
