Expand description

Evaluation configuration for architecture search

Fields§

§epochs: u32

Number of epochs for evaluation

§batch_size: usize

Batch size for training

§learning_rate: f64

Learning rate for evaluation

§performance_prediction: bool

Use performance prediction

Implementations§

Source§

impl EvaluationConfig

Source

pub fn from_engine_config<T>(config: &EvaluationConfig<T>) -> Self
where T: Float + Debug + Send + Sync + 'static,

Derive an evaluation configuration from the richer, generic nas_engine::config::EvaluationConfig carried by NASConfig.

The engine-level configuration describes budgets and statistical testing; the evaluation subsystem only needs the step budget, batch size and base learning rate, plus whether performance prediction is enabled. max_epochs is clamped to at least one step so an evaluation always performs real work.
