pub enum OccupancyLimiter {
Warps,
Registers,
SharedMemory,
BlocksPerSm,
ThreadsPerBlock,
}Expand description
The resource that bounds occupancy for a given kernel/SM combination.
Variants§
Warps
Limited by the maximum number of resident warps per SM.
Registers
Limited by the SM register file.
Limited by per-SM shared memory.
BlocksPerSm
Limited by the hard cap on resident blocks per SM.
ThreadsPerBlock
The block requests more threads than the hardware permits; it cannot launch, so occupancy is zero.
