Represents an OpenAI Conversation object.

A conversation stores items (messages, tool calls, tool outputs, etc.) and can be used with the Responses API for multi-turn interactions.

Fields

id: String

The unique ID of the conversation (e.g., “conv_abc123”)

object: String

Object type, always “conversation”

created_at: i64

Unix timestamp (in seconds) when the conversation was created

metadata: Option<HashMap<String, String>>

Set of key-value pairs for storing additional information

Keys are strings with a maximum length of 64 characters. Values are strings with a maximum length of 512 characters.
