A reasoning item (chain-of-thought and/or summaries) from the model.

Fields§

§id: Option<String>

The unique ID of the reasoning item.

§content: Option<Vec<ReasoningContent>>

The reasoning content. Providers that expose chain-of-thought text (e.g. DeepSeek, Qwen) return reasoning_text parts here; OpenAI omits it unless requested.

§summary: Vec<ReasoningSummary>

Summaries of the reasoning content.

§status: Option<ItemStatus>

The status of the reasoning item.
