Arguments for onevcs release declaration.

Fields

path: PathBuf

A repository’s root, or the release-targets.toml in it.

A path rather than the identity spelling every other verb takes: this reads a file a checkout carries, and a repository this host has never registered is exactly the case a consumer asks about.

json: bool

Report as JSON rather than as a human table.

The two renderings this verb has, and deliberately not a third: rendering a declaration back as TOML is a library call (onevcs::render_release_declaration) and not a verb, because a producer’s comments are not this crate’s to keep, and a verb that redirected a rendering over a repository’s own release-targets.toml would delete the reasoning that is the most valuable thing in it. A caller producing a declaration has no comments to lose and reaches it through the library.
