pub struct EventLine {
pub text: String,
pub envelope: Option<Envelope>,
}Expand description
One line of a session’s event stream, as its writer left it.
The bytes are the answer: a reader of a file hands on the line its producer wrote rather than a re-serialization of what it parsed, so what a later build recorded and this one has no word for still reads, and a filtered read is a subset of an unfiltered one byte for byte.
Fields§
§text: StringThe line’s own bytes, without the newline that ended it.
envelope: Option<Envelope>The envelope it carries, where this build could read one belonging to this
session. None is a line that is not one — a kind this build has no word
for, a line no writer left, or an event of another stream — which only an
unfiltered read ever hands back, since a filter has to read an event to
judge it and refuses what it cannot.
