#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Mergeability {
Mergeable,
Conflicting {
reported: String,
},
Unknown,
}Expand description
Whether a change request can merge into its base, as
RemoteHost::mergeability answers it.
#[non_exhaustive] so that a later state a host reports — a change that merges
cleanly and is blocked for another reason, say — is not a breaking change. A caller
matching on it reads anything it does not name as “not a conflict”.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Mergeable
The host computed it, and the change merges into its base as it stands.
Conflicting
The host confirms the change conflicts with its base, so it cannot merge until the branch is reconciled with it.
Fields
Unknown
The host has not computed it yet, which is never a conflict.
