pub struct TextToColumnsRequest {
pub source: GridRange,
pub delimiter: Option<String>,
pub delimiter_type: DelimiterType,
}Expand description
TextToColumnsRequest — splits a single column’s delimited text across
the adjacent columns to its right (issue #1843,
ADR-0083 §1).
The API requires Self::source to “span exactly one column”; this
crate never sees or predicts how many columns the split needs — only an
upper bound computed from a local, non-quote-aware split — see
text_to_columns.rs’s module docs for what --dry-run can and cannot
say about it.
Fields§
§source: GridRangeThe column to split. Must span exactly one column; may be row-open
(A:A) or row-bounded (A2:A100).
delimiter: Option<String>The custom separator. Read by the API only when
Self::delimiter_type is DelimiterType::Custom; omitted
otherwise, matching AutoFillRequest’s optional-field convention.
delimiter_type: DelimiterTypeWhich separator to split on, or to detect automatically.
