--value-layout’s value set — HORIZONTAL (values as columns, the API’s own default) or VERTICAL (values as rows).

Public: the CLI’s ValueLayoutArg clap::ValueEnum mirror converts into this, the same split GradientMidTypeArg/GradientPointType use.
