What happened (or, under --dry-run, would happen).
Variants§
WouldChange
--dry-run, and the gate would allow it. object is populated for
update-chart/update-slicer (the pre-change state) and for
delete-chart/delete-slicer (the ADR-0081 §3 preview).
Fields
object: Option<Box<EmbeddedObjectSummary>>The object as it stands now, for an update or a delete.
RefusedNotASpreadsheet
The target is not a Google Sheet.
RefusedShortcut
The target is a shortcut, which we do not follow.
RefusedNoVisibleParents
The target has no parents this account can see.
RefusedSheetNotFound
The named sheet does not exist in this workbook.
RefusedInvalidRange
The verb’s own arguments were invalid — a bad range/anchor, an unsupported flag combination, or nothing to change.
RefusedObjectNotFound
update-chart/delete-chart named a --chart-id, or
update-slicer/delete-slicer a --slicer-id, that does not exist
in this workbook.
RefusedWrongObjectKind
A chart-only verb (update-chart/delete-chart/move-chart/
update-chart-border) named an id that exists but belongs to a
slicer, or a slicer-only verb (update-slicer/delete-slicer/
move-slicer) named one that belongs to a chart. Distinct from
Self::RefusedObjectNotFound — the id is real, just the wrong
kind of object — so the message can point straight at the list-*
command that would have shown it.
Fields
RefusedUnsupportedChart
update-chart named a chart whose existing spec is not one of the
two supported kinds (basic or pie), or would switch between them.
Fields
Blocked
The folder write-permission gate refused it.
Fields
decided_by: Option<DecidingRule>The rule that decided the refusal, if any.
RefusedNoLease
No --lease was presented, and the deciding rule requires one
(ADR-0080 §9).
RefusedLeaseExpired
The presented lease has expired, or was never a token this ledger knows about.
RefusedLeaseWrongFile
The presented lease is bound to a different file id.
RefusedLeaseStale
The file has moved since the lease’s recorded version — the
staleness check (ADR-0080 §6).
Changed
The mutation succeeded.
Fields
summary: StringSame summary as Self::WouldChange.
object_id: Option<i64>The object’s stable id — server-assigned for add-chart/
add-slicer, otherwise the one resolved against.
object: Option<Box<EmbeddedObjectSummary>>The object as it stood immediately before this change, for an
update or a delete — same as Self::WouldChange’s object.
AppliedReplyUnreadable
The API answered 2xx — the mutation was applied — but its reply
could not be read (issue #2021). Distinct from Self::Failed: a
retry here would duplicate the object. The server-assigned id of an
added chart or slicer was in that reply, so it is unknown.
Fields
summary: StringSame summary as Self::WouldChange.
Failed
An API or validation error.
