Installs the sessions-tracker hooks into ~/.claude/settings.json, plus the pi.dev extension when pi is installed and the Codex hooks when Codex is.

Fields

settings: Option<PathBuf>

Path to the Claude settings file. Defaults to ~/.claude/settings.json (respecting $CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR).

pi_agent_dir: Option<PathBuf>

pi.dev’s agent directory. Defaults to $PI_CODING_AGENT_DIR, else ~/.pi/agent. Passing it installs the pi extension even when pi is not detected.

codex_home: Option<PathBuf>

Codex’s home directory, holding hooks.json. Defaults to $CODEX_HOME, else ~/.codex. Passing it installs the Codex hooks even when Codex is not detected.

Executes the install: rewrites any stale sink left by a moved binary, merges the hook block idempotently (preserving any other hooks already present), then writes the pi extension if pi is present and the Codex hooks if Codex is.
