SelectRequest

Struct SelectRequest

Source
pub struct SelectRequest {
    pub select: Value,
    pub templates: Value,
    pub expect: Option<Value>,
}
Expand description

plan / apply / execute with a select — the selector, the templates (the call’s effects) and the optional bound, as given — or, since 3.2, a selector-less call whose effects carry sugar (select is null: the effects are desugared and their -> / { oqx } slots evaluated in their own targets’ row scopes).

Fields§

§select: Value§templates: Value§expect: Option<Value>

Implementations§

Source§

impl SelectRequest

Source

pub fn from_args(args: &Json) -> Result<Option<Self>>

Read a tool’s or a fixture step’s arguments: None when the call names neither select nor expect and its effects carry no sugar (the plain effects path, untouched); expect without select is refused as the reference’s planner refuses it. Nothing else is checked here — compile does, in the reference’s order.

Source

pub fn has_selector(&self) -> bool

The call names a selector (else it is the selector-less sugar path).

Source

pub fn select_str(&self) -> &str

The selector as given, when it is a string.

Source

pub fn templates(&self) -> usize

How many templates were given (0 unless an array).
