What the shape check needs to spell a fix for the shape errors of §8 (3.4; the reference’s ShapeFixContext): the request as given — select and expect when present, the effects list (the corrected call is that request with effects[i] AS WRITTEN rewritten, before any desugaring) — and the live-row lookup for the one fix that reads the store: parent_of a block id → its row, or None when no live block has the id (then there is no fix). The planner’s compile supplies it; a call without it gets the same errors with no fix.
