Revision

Struct Revision

Source
pub struct Revision { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A numbered, immutable snapshot of an environment: the placement-free manifest, the module manifests it lists and its vars, with a digest of all three, plus when it was committed and with what message. Nothing in the API changes a revision once committed; the type has no setters, and the store refuses an update.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Revision

Source

pub fn environment(&self) -> &EnvironmentId

The environment it is a revision of.

Source

pub fn number(&self) -> u32

Its number: 1 for the first, counting up per environment.

Source

pub fn manifest(&self) -> &EnvManifest

The environment manifest, without placement.

Source

pub fn manifest_toml(&self) -> &str

The manifest as stored (env.toml text).

Source

pub fn modules(&self) -> &BTreeMap<String, String>

The module.yaml texts the manifest lists, by path.

Source

pub fn vars(&self) -> &VarSet

The vars it carries.

Source

pub fn digest(&self) -> &str

The SHA-256 (hex) over the manifest text, the module texts and the vars.

Source

pub fn message(&self) -> Option<&str>

The message it was committed with, if any (see commit_draft_with). Not part of the digest.

Source

pub fn created_at(&self) -> SystemTime

When it was committed, to the second.
