}Expand description
Metadata about an MLS group (stored separately from MLS state).
Fields§
§name: Option<String>Human-readable group name.
created_at_ms: u64Timestamp when the group was created (milliseconds since epoch).
last_activity_ms: u64Timestamp of the last activity (milliseconds since epoch).
custom: HashMap<String, String>Custom application-specific metadata.
created_by: Option<String>User ID of the group creator.
roles: HashMap<String, GroupRole>Per-member role assignments.
Deserialization falls back to migrating legacy "role:*" keys from custom.
Implementations§
Source§impl GroupMetadata
impl GroupMetadata
Sourcepub const LEGACY_ROLE_KEY_PREFIX: &'static str = "role:"
pub const LEGACY_ROLE_KEY_PREFIX: &'static str = "role:"
Prefix previously used for role entries in the custom map (legacy).
Sourcepub fn new(name: Option<String>) -> GroupMetadata
pub fn new(name: Option<String>) -> GroupMetadata
Creates new group metadata with the given name and creator.
Sourcepub fn new_with_creator(name: Option<String>, creator_id: &str) -> GroupMetadata
pub fn new_with_creator(name: Option<String>, creator_id: &str) -> GroupMetadata
Creates new group metadata with a creator.
Sourcepub fn migrate_legacy_roles(&mut self)
pub fn migrate_legacy_roles(&mut self)
Migrates any legacy "role:*" keys from the custom map into the
dedicated roles field. Call after deserialization for
backwards-compatibility with older group metadata.
Sourcepub fn get_role(&self, user_id: &str) -> GroupRole
pub fn get_role(&self, user_id: &str) -> GroupRole
Gets the role for a user, defaulting to GroupRole::Member if not set.
Sourcepub fn remove_role(&mut self, user_id: &str)
pub fn remove_role(&mut self, user_id: &str)
Removes role metadata for a user (on removal from group).
Sourcepub fn has_any_admin(&self) -> bool
pub fn has_any_admin(&self) -> bool
Returns true if any admin role is stored in this metadata.
Sourcepub fn get_all_roles(&self) -> HashMap<String, GroupRole>
pub fn get_all_roles(&self) -> HashMap<String, GroupRole>
Returns all user_id -> role mappings.

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to
value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg():
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.fg(Color::White);Set foreground color to white using white().

fn bg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the background set to

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like on_red() and
on_green(), which have the same functionality but
are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg():
use yansi::{Paint, Color};

Source§fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr():
use yansi::{Paint, Attribute};
painted.attr(Attribute::Bold);Make text bold using using bold().

Source§fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the yansi Quirk value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask() and
wrap(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);Enable wrapping using wrap().
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
