pub struct IdentityAssertion<'a> {
pub public_key: &'a [u8],
pub signature: &'a [u8],
pub signed_data: &'a [u8],
}Expand description
The three fields of a parsed assertion, borrowed from the bytes they were parsed out of.
Holding one of these proves nothing: the fields have the right sizes and nothing more. A verifier owes the signature check and the derivation before it announces the peer.
Fields§
§public_key: &'a [u8]The Ed25519 identity public key, exactly 32 bytes.
signature: &'a [u8]The Ed25519 signature over signed_data, exactly 64 bytes.
signed_data: &'a [u8]The bytes the signature covers. May be empty, and means nothing here.
