Implementations§

Source§

impl PricingEngine

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

An engine with the default PricingPolicy.

Source

pub fn with_policy(policy: PricingPolicy) -> Self

An engine with a specific policy.

Source

pub const fn policy(&self) -> &PricingPolicy

The policy in use.

Source

pub fn price( &self, session: &PricedSession, tariffs: &[Tariff], ) -> Result<CostBreakdown, PricingError>

Prices session against tariffs.

When several tariffs are given, each charging period uses the one its tariff_id names; a period with no tariff_id uses the first tariff that is valid at that moment and whose type matches the session’s charging preference.

§Errors

Returns PricingError when no applicable tariff can be found, or when the session’s time zone cannot be resolved.
