Defaults for new buffers (each buffer has its own Indent).

Fields

tab_width: usize

use_spaces: bool

The Tab key inserts spaces instead of a tab character.

auto_close: bool

Typing an opening bracket or quote inserts its partner (Notepad++’s Auto-Insert; see autoclose).

smart_indent: bool

Enter after an opening bracket indents, and a closing bracket lines up with its partner (see smart_indent).

overtype: bool

Typing replaces the character after the caret (the Insert key; see overtype).
