What kind of event the upstream advertised. Read from the provider-specific event header; Unknown when no recognised header is present so the handler can fall through to the legacy best-effort path.

Variants

Push

A real push event we want to scan.

Ping

GitHub’s webhook-creation ping. Should be accepted at the transport layer (so the upstream marks the webhook healthy) but never trigger a scan.

Other(String)

Anything else the upstream named (issues / pull_request / workflow_run / …). Acknowledged 200 so the upstream stops retrying, never triggers a scan.

Unknown

No recognised event header was present. Conservative fallback for unknown providers; the handler then requires a ref-shaped JSON body before triggering a scan.
