#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Backend {
Any,
Ring,
Jaccl,
}Expand description
A distributed backend (MLX’s backend argument).
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Any
The first backend whose environment is set: the ring, then JACCL.
Ring
MLX’s TCP ring.
Jaccl
MLX’s JACCL, RDMA over Thunderbolt 5 (experimental, feature jaccl).
