pub struct ArcRecursive<T>(pub Arc<Mutex<Option<T>>>);std only.Expand description
Thread-safe recursive anchor type — the RcRecursive
counterpart for cross-thread / parallel-parse use cases.
Wraps Arc<Mutex<Option<T>>>. Access through
ArcRecursive::lock (rather than a Deref) so the locking
is explicit at the call site.
§Examples
use noyalib::ArcRecursive;
let r: ArcRecursive<i32> = ArcRecursive::new(42);
assert_eq!(*r.lock(), Some(42));Tuple Fields§
§0: Arc<Mutex<Option<T>>>Implementations§
Source§impl<T> ArcRecursive<T>
impl<T> ArcRecursive<T>
Sourcepub fn new(value: T) -> Self
pub fn new(value: T) -> Self
Construct a thread-safe recursive anchor pre-populated
with value.
Sourcepub fn lock(&self) -> MutexGuard<'_, Option<T>>
pub fn lock(&self) -> MutexGuard<'_, Option<T>>
Lock the inner cell. Recovers from poisoning rather than
panicking — the only way the mutex gets poisoned is a
panic mid-write inside the critical section, and the
recovered guard is still observable as None or as the
pre-panic value.
Returns a MutexGuard over Option<T>.
§Examples
use noyalib::ArcRecursive;
let r = ArcRecursive::new("hi".to_string());
let guard = r.lock();
assert_eq!(guard.as_deref(), Some("hi"));Sourcepub fn set(&self, value: T) -> Option<T>
pub fn set(&self, value: T) -> Option<T>
Replace the inner value, returning the previous one if any.
Sourcepub fn strong_count(&self) -> usize
pub fn strong_count(&self) -> usize
Number of strong Arc references to this recursive cell.
Sourcepub fn downgrade(&self) -> ArcRecursion<T>
pub fn downgrade(&self) -> ArcRecursion<T>
Downgrade to an ArcRecursion weak reference.

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to
value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg():

Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
