Metadata for a single column within the segment footer.
Fields§
§name: StringColumn name (matches schema definition).
offset: u64Byte offset of this column’s first block from the start of the segment (after the header).
length: u64Total byte length of all blocks for this column.
codec: ColumnCodecCodec used for this column’s blocks.
block_count: u32Number of blocks for this column.
block_stats: Vec<BlockStats>Per-block statistics (one entry per block).
dictionary: Option<Vec<String>>Dictionary for dict-encoded columns (None for non-dict columns).
Strings are stored in ID order: dictionary[0] is ID 0, etc.
The actual column data is stored as i64 IDs via DeltaFastLanesLz4.
