Expand description

One function activation.

Fields§

§env: Env§base_env: Env

The env this activation started in — the FUNCTION scope. var and hoisted function declarations bind here no matter how many block scopes are open.

§this_obj: Option<Value>§new_target: Option<Value>

new.target for this activation (the constructor when invoked via new).

§home_class: Option<Value>

The class value owning the running method (drives super); None outside a class method/constructor.

§home_static: bool

Whether the running method is a static one — see FuncVal::home_static.

§home_object: Option<Value>

The object literal owning the running method — see FuncVal::home_object.

§strict: bool

Whether the code in this activation is strict. A write the object refuses is a silent no-op in sloppy mode and a TypeError here, so the ASSIGNMENT SITE decides — not the object being written to.

§line: u32

Source line the frame is currently executing (updated by the DAP line hook under --dap; stays 0 on ordinary runs).

§owner: Option<String>

The function name that owns this frame, for the DAP stackTrace; None for the module frame and anonymous activations.

§is_module: bool

True ONLY for the program’s module frame. A generator/async body runs on a coroutine whose swapped-in context holds just ITS OWN frame, so the frame COUNT cannot tell “module scope” from “coroutine body scope” — without this flag every top-level let/var in such a body declared a GLOBAL, shared across concurrent activations of the same function.

§this_state: ThisState

Whether this activation’s this is bound yet — see ThisState.
