pub enum EventCategory {
General,
Outcome,
Evaluation,
Retry,
Throttle,
Resolution,
Report,
}Expand description
The semantic domain of a structured event — orthogonal to the lifecycle moment it attaches to. Extend as producers appear; a category earns a variant when some consumer (sink filter, counter, panel) needs to dispatch on it without string-matching rendered prefixes.
Variants§
General
Ordinary diagnostics with no more specific domain (the overwhelming majority).
Outcome
An outcome projection (the ✓/✗ phase_outcome block).
SRD-81: a display projection, not a diagnostic.
Evaluation
Evaluation detail attached to an outcome (relevancy
mean=/p50= rows, verify summaries). SRD-92: detail rows
belong to the block above them.
Retry
Retry-plane visibility: first-sighting advisories and
sampled counter-exemplars (exec_events).
Throttle
Adaptive backpressure governance (SRD-83 Part 9
throttle:).
Resolution
Reference resolution (SRD-85 nearest-first shadowing warnings).
Report
Report-block warnings (SRD-46).
