Scheduling class applied to a pool’s threads.

Variants

Rr

SCHED_RR realtime (default for timing). Round-robin so a busy realtime thread can’t hard-starve a core the way Fifo can.

Fifo

SCHED_FIFO realtime — tightest, but a runaway thread starves the core.

Nice

A nice bump (no privileges required).

None

Plain (default) scheduling.
