pub enum SetError {
ValidationFailed(String),
ApplyFailed(Vec<ApplyFailure>),
FinalViolation {
scope: String,
},
}Expand description
Error outcomes returned by Control::set. A write can
reject at validation (before fan-out), at apply (during
fan-out), or up front because the control is final at its
declaring scope. In every case the committed value is
unchanged.
Variants§
ValidationFailed(String)
The pre-fanout validator rejected the value. No applier was called. Message explains why.
ApplyFailed(Vec<ApplyFailure>)
One or more appliers returned Err (or timed out). The
list carries the index + error message for each failure.
FinalViolation
The control was declared final at scope and is
pinned to its Launch value. Runtime writes (any origin
other than Launch) are rejected.
